City Council's Economic Development Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday regarding a plan for senior housing in Oakley.
The Deupree House is proposing two single-story cottages on a former warehouse site at 3999 Erie Avenue.
To be allowed to do so, the zoning would have to be changed from manufacturing, which doesn't allow nursing homes, to residential multi-family.
The rezoning was approved by the City Planning Commission on September 21.
Both cottages will total 10,000 square feet, and each will house around 12 residents.
