UBS Financial Services Inc. has been confirmed as the first office tenant at the $175 million Kenwood Towne Place development in Sycamore Township.
In spring 2009, UBS will move its 60 Gradison Group employees from the Downtown's 580 Building to a new 32,000-square-foot space, the entire top floor of the eight-story office building.
The Gradison Group, which was acquired along with parent company McDonald Investments by Swiss-based UBS last year, has been located Downtown for 80 years.
The lease was negotiated by the Hartmann-Ryan team of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker.
"We are very pleased to be able to move into this premier office space," said Troy De Bord, UBS managing director for the region. "The office's centralized location will only enhance UBS' presence in the Greater Cincinnati area."
The office will employ a total of 90. UBS will retain smaller offices at 312 Walnut Street and at Deerfield Crossing.
When construction wraps up this fall, Kenwood Towne Place will include 300,000 square feet of office space and 285,000 square feet of retail (BIRD'S EYE).
Signed retail tenants include Crate & Barrel, Ethan Allen, Fresh Fare by Kroger, L.A. Fitness and the Container Store.
Bear Creek Capital, Neyer Holdings Corp. and DOV Limited are the project developers.
