Cause of death: Formerly a Hardee's restaurant, the building was blighted and vacant like the building posted yesterday. It was likely demolished by owners ClifCor to avoid future upkeep. ClifCor still owns the property after a failed attempt at eminent domain by the Clifton Heights Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation (CHCURC) and the City of Cincinnati to build the McMillan Park condominium and retail complex. CHCURC is currently working with Towne Properties on a partnership that will allow them to develop a mixed-use project on the surrounding land.
