Cincinnati City Councilman Chris Monzel sees inactivity at The Banks project site, and he wants to make sure that council is kept in the loop.
In a motion introduced before council, Monzel has asked City Manager Milton Dohoney Jr to provide them with a monthly status report that would outline not only what is happening at the site, but also any changes regarding timelines, management, financing and feasibility.
"Five months have passed since the groundbreaking ceremony for the Banks Project and there are no visible signs of activity at the project site," Monzel writes in a statement accompanying the motion. "The taxpayers deserve an accounting as well as regular updates from the City Manager regarding this important project."
A report from Dohoney is expected before council by the beginning of October.
