An ordinance allowing the City to sell a vacant parcel of land to Cincinnati Northside Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation (CNCURC) has been passed unanimously by Cincinnati City Council.
CNCURC has offered to pay the fair market value of $4,400 for the 0.1-acre parcel at , on which it plans to build a new single-family home and off-street parking for an adjacent house at 1422 Chase Avenue.
The project is part of phase two of the non-profit's Fergus Street Homeownership Project.
4120 Mad Anthony Street has been a vacant lot since 2004 and has been part of the Cincinnati Land Reutilization Program (CLRP) since 2006.
CLRP, established by council in 1996 to return abandoned property to tax-generating use, is managed by the Department of City Planning.
