Remembering Cincinnati, 12/2/09

One year ago:

  • Cincinnati City Council was considering the sale of 7.1 acres in Northside, a parcel that is now being developed as the 25-unit Northwind subdivision.
  • Money originally targeted for the failed Linden Park development was promised to other College Hill projects.
  • A slideshow featured photo updates from Owl's Nest Park, a single-family development in Lockland, new single-family houses in Mount Lookout, and a massive L.A. Fitness in Oakley.
  • In Oakley, Cincinnati was considering the sale of surplus property to Episcopal Retirement Homes to provide access to the Deupree Cottages development.
  • The former River Sands Motel in the East End, most recently used as an antiques mall, was razed privately by its owner.
