Wrecking Cincinnati: 1114 Marshall Ave

USE: Two-family dwelling
OWNER: Fred D. Tucker
ASSESSED VALUE: $47,910
ORDERS: September 2008, ordered vacated and barricaded. It was soon discovered that the owner was deceased.
CONDEMNED: May 2009, for a lack of utilities, missing siding, an open roof, stripped plaster, water damage and mold.
HAZARD: March 2010, adding a defective porch, broken and missing windows, gutters and downspouts. According to communications from the neighborhood, scrappers were occupying the building and using the adjoining lot to break down metals.
REASON RAZED: Declared a public nuisance and entered into the City's hazard abatement program. Demolished using Moving Ohio Forward program funding.
